So I had a chance to play through Kane and Lynch. I would NOT have even rented that normally but a friend of mine picked it up so we could play through on co-op.
Now, the first thing to factor in is, this guy hasnt played a video game since the first playstation so he got us killed alot! Add that to a game that has enough problems as it is and you have a great recipe for a headache. You would think 6 hours in my buddy would be able to keep the camera behind him, not so much. I have read some pretty bad reviews on the game and I do agree with most of them, although with enough weed the game is somewhat enjoyable with a friend. Like most people noticed, the graphics are pretty lame and there is basically ZERO variety as far as gameplay goes. Walk into room, take cover, kill everyone move forward and repeat. Its the type of game that works best in small doses. I couldnt imagine playing the single player campaign by myself for more than 10 minutes and Ive yet to check out the MP but I suppose it could make sense as a rental if you have a buddy to play with (hopefully yours isnt a walking target for the enemies like mine).
